Require comparable production assumptions
Record system DC size, inverter AC size, annual production estimate, shading/azimuth assumptions, degradation, clipping, and the weather dataset used. Compare cash price separately from financed total payments.
Equipment and scope
Capture module, inverter, optimizer, battery, and gateway model numbers; usable battery capacity and power; roof and electrical work; permits; interconnection; monitoring; workmanship warranty; equipment warranty; and removal/reinstallation terms for future roof work.
Utility and financing
Verify current net-metering or export compensation, time-of-use rates, battery-control permissions, interconnection timelines, lien/UCC terms, dealer fees, escalators, and transfer terms. Ask for the no-incentive economics as a baseline.
